Here in Freeport, the Historic District runs from the Old Brazos River south to 4th Street, and from FM 1495 west to Velasco.  But Freeport Historic District Commission is concerned with more than just the historic downtown district.  We also promote tourism and hold several events every year to attract out-of-town visitors.
